While working with the Google SMB team, I designed static ads for paid media and social channels, using AI to help streamline production and automate workflows for high-quality results at scale. The biggest challenge was ensuring the creative always spoke to a B2B audience rather than consumers, while also managing the sheer volume of outputs. Since Google campaigns run globally, every project required localisation for an average of 8+ markets. For one campaign alone, I was responsible for delivering over 1,000 outputs.
To achieve this, I used AI for translations and product imagery, alongside platforms such as Figma Buzz and Pencil to manage feed sheets and automate mass localisation. The key was finding a balance between automation and design quality making sure the outputs never felt like rigid templates but instead looked polished, engaging, and on-brand. This role gave me invaluable experience in large-scale design production, localisation workflows, and the practical use of AI as a creative tool to maintain quality at speed.
