Defra (Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs) asked me to design online creatives for their ‘What The Flood’ campaign. The brief required a balance between being clear and information-led while still visually engaging enough to capture attention. I designed a set of online ads tailored to both location and weather targeting, ensuring the messaging felt relevant in real time. To achieve this, I focused on bold typography, clear hierarchy, and adaptable layouts that could carry detailed information without losing impact. This project was a great exercise in creating flexible design systems that communicate vital information quickly and effectively.
